Hello, and welcome to my website! Life is a journey and I want to take this opportunity to share a little bit about mine. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from SUNY Oneonta. From there, I began my career in social work as a case worker for Adult Protective Services and Child Protective Services for five years in Delaware County NY. In 2009, my wife and I decided to relocate to Greenville, North Carolina where I completed my Master's Degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. I worked in a small private practice and a psychiatric hospital prior to moving back to central New York in 2015. Since 2015, I have been working for St. Joseph’s hospital as an outpatient therapist. My experience has allowed me to work with a diverse population and range of clinical needs.
I am passionate about relationship health and believe that strong, healthy relationships are important for a happy and meaningful life. I work with a range of relationship issues including infidelity, trust issues, communication and sexual problems to help you build and maintain a healthy partnership. As a husband and father to two young children, I can relate to the joys and challenges of nurturing familial relationships. I also have experience working with teens as well as young adults experiencing college/lifestyle adjustments. While I use different perspectives and approaches, my focus is on the unique individual or couple seeking therapy. Taking the first step toward counseling can be difficult. Please call or email and together, we will develop a treatment plan that works for you. I look forward to working with you.
